The APCS has been responding to families and schools’ requests for support since 1986. Despite all the action that has been carried out, many schools still do not know how to identify and deal with some of the adversities these children face.

Therefore, since 1995, the APCS has been developing Enrichment Projects, having, since 2010, also implemented the Project Invest in Ability (Projeto Investir na Capacidade – PIC) through networking based on partnerships with City Halls, Schools, Higher Education institutions and other entities. Events that are monitored by teachers and take place weekly in various environments are organized for the creative achievement and social interaction of children with high potential . At the same time, there are also spaces for training, sharing and guidance for parents.
