Project Invest in Ability (Projeto Investir na Capacidade – PIC)

With the involvement of all partners, the Municipality of Leiria in the school year 2018/2019 continues to develop the Enrichment Activities Program called Project Invest in Ability (Projeto Investir na Capacidade – PIC) attended by children with high abilities from all the School Groupings of the municipality. Families are very involved and testify that the children feel motivated and integrated. The technical team provided by the municipality has been expanded and enriched and has taken on an important role in coordinating and establishing links with teachers and schools where the children come from.

On May 4 of 2019, the Municipality of Leiria organized the V National PIC Meeting, having become the host for the other similar programmes. It welcomed children and families from all of the PIC of the country who had the opportunity to socialize and share their creations in the scope of this Program. It was considered a memorable “spectacular” experience by all parents, children, teachers and technicians.
